One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dream Observer found a gap and took the lead. Stifling Lilac followed before Confident Mustache. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




Dream Observer was in fine shape and held the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Dream Observer clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dream Observer followed by Confident Mustache and No Questions Asked. Lane two Stifling Lilac followed by Savan and . Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Dream Observer sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Dream Observer were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Dream Observer didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
