One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Platinum Steel found a gap and took the lead. Scorpio followed before Singing Breeze. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m.




Platinum Steel was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Singing Breeze looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Scorpio couldn't come out from behind the leader, Platinum Steel.




Platinum Steel was still in the lead after 1500m.



Platinum Steel looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Platinum Steel didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
