The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Drammen this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Silhoutte Dancer tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Avondale Trotter that came steaming ahead.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Avondale Trotter showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Sergeant Valley sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Silhoutte Dancer sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Sergeant Valley won the race after a spectacular finish.
