One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Express Sound could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Anders Christiansson wanted a little to much in the start and Pampered Brightness galoped for 50 m. When the startcar left the field Big Rock started to galop and lost 10 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Big Rock looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Kenmare couldn't come out from behind the leader, Express Sound. Brown Muscle suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Express Sound was still in the lead after 1500m.




Express Sound didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Express Sound sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Express Sound kept the speed the whole finish and won before Kenmare and Hunter.
