One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Old Boulder tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Øst Hen til Vest that came steaming ahead. Good Looking Sword was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Silver City started to galop and lost 50 m. Sunday Venus suddenly started to galop. Claes Sjöström had to struggle to get Sunday Venus to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

Seductive Pixie quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Lying Thought took the lead rather easily. Impatient Witch galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Old Boulder looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Silver City suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Juhani Partanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Silver City started to galopp and lost 40 m.

Sunday Venus sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
