One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Escape sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Competitive Box started to galop and lost 30 m. Sad Printer galloped way to long and was disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and License To Quit sprinted to the front.




Universe Spirit looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Escape couldn't come out from behind the leader, License To Quit.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one License To Quit followed by Escape and Wandering Sparkle. Lane two Universe Spirit followed by Competitive Box and Smiling Sunshine.



License To Quit looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch License To Quit today who won before Escape and Universe Spirit.
