The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Tempting Baby. Pointing Duchess ended up behind the leader. Madame Bovary got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Pointing Duchess, Beautiful Moon, Tempting Baby, Madame Bovary, Lonely News, Fläsk Nimrod, Moonlight Brightness, Goofy Needle.




Madame Bovary sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Madame Bovary followed by Tempting Baby and Beautiful Moon. Lane two Lonely News followed by Pointing Duchess and Moonlight Brightness. Tempting Baby galloped for 10 m.



Lonely News litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Tempting Baby won. Lonely News came in second. Madame Bovary caught third place.
