The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sneaky Sword tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Max Factory that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Auf Feuer sprinted to the front.




Prima Sparkle sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Prima Sparkle followed by Polnareff and Light Runner. Lane two Max Factory followed by Sneaky Sword and Auf Feuer.




Prima Sparkle didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Polnareff was first on the homestretch followed by Prima Sparkle and Light Runner.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Auf Feuer galop. Auf Feuer lost 50 m.




Light Runner sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
