The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ufo Broline sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Giant Box started to galop and lost 40 m.




Stockholm Viking saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Y.G Box sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Baldin galop. Baldin lost 30 m.




Giant Box made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Ufo Broline.
