The sun was shining on Kokkola today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lappa Lainen tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Go Go Escargot that came steaming ahead.




Go Go Escargot was in fine shape and held the lead.




Go Go Escargot clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. driver couldn't keep Lappa Lainen to trotting so they were disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Go Go Escargot today. It continued in the lead.



Go Go Escargot were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Go Go Escargot didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
