One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Poincon Express found a gap and took the lead. Angelo Di Toscana followed before Giant Universe.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Poincon Express today. It continued in the lead. Giant Universe started to gallop after 1500m and Dick Sjöberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Poincon Express sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Poincon Express galop. Poincon Express lost 30 m.




Giant Universe sprinted over the finishline before Angelo Di Toscana and Monsieur Du Dijon.
