The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

La Môme Piaf tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Big Moon that came steaming ahead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Kvarngärdets Freja sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of La Môme Piaf who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Pöl sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Pöl galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Advanced Work showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
