It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





I´ll Show You could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Whispering Heat quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. I´ll Show You started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Whispering Heat clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Whispering Heat was still in the lead after 1500m.



Whispering Heat kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Jumping Temptress never caught up with Whispering Heat who won. Insane Darkness came third.
