The weather had been good all week and Axevalla was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Piuttosto Vox. Courageous Pressure ended up behind the leader. Handy Missile got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Dead Comet saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Lieutenant Momentum looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Courageous Pressure couldn't come out from behind the leader, Dead Comet.

Lauréat was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Courageous Pressure was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Piuttosto Vox looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Handy Missile couldn't come out from behind the leader, Dead Comet.

Handy Missile made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Piuttosto Vox.
