One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Der Maschinist tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Breathing Biscuit that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Welsh Bible started to galop and lost 30 m.




Tricky Wave saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tricky Wave followed by Breathing Biscuit and Welsh Bible. Lane two Der Maschinist followed by Rebellious Body and Tulio Vox.



Der Maschinist suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Tricky Wave won the race after a spectacular finish.
