One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lonely Astronaut was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Savant Que Toujours saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Savant Que Toujours clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. driver couldn't keep Lonely Astronaut to trotting so they were disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Savant Que Toujours followed by Ghostrider Dynamite and Dead Soldiers Walts. Lane two Inindra Du Chene followed by Gold Lieutenant and Superman Joe.



Inindra Du Chene litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Gold Lieutenant, 2 Inindra Du Chene, 3 Ghostrider Dynamite.
