One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Ginger Lipstick. Blue Map ended up behind the leader. Punching Hero got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Blue Map suddenly started to galop. Eirik Høitomt had to struggle to get Blue Map to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Boomboom Buxbom, Blue Map, Casibaré, Punching Hero, Grasping Addiction, Quick Tank, Timisoara, Ginger Lipstick.

Grasping Addiction looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Blue Map couldn't come out from behind the leader, Boomboom Buxbom.

Boomboom Buxbom was still in the lead after 1500m. Timisoara started to gallop after 1500m and Alexander Heisholt had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Blue Map galoped for 30 m. Boomboom Buxbom were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Ginger Lipstick made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Punching Hero.
