The sun was shining on Färjestad and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sly Stone. Starchild ended up behind the leader. Ruiten got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Dans Leur Baiser started to galop and lost 30 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Starchild sprinted to the front.

Sly Stone sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Ruiten looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Ruiten looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Dominant Cruiser made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Sly Stone.
