The sun was shining on Drammen today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Once In A Lifetime took the lead after a very quick start. driver couldn't keep Très Important to trotting so they were disqualified. Aeronwen was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Aeronwen, Bonjour Lundi, Fruciante Mohawk, Once In A Lifetime, Loving Play, Calming Blizzard, Miss Otis Regrets, Middernacht.




Aeronwen was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Once In A Lifetime saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Once In A Lifetime sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



driver couldn't keep Fruciante Mohawk to trotting so they were disqualified. Once In A Lifetime looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Once In A Lifetime. Calming Blizzard came in second. Middernacht became third.
