One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sonja Palema sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Lass Sanity quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Être Service who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Être Service sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Être Service followed by Sonja Palema and Minnesota Viking. Lane two Dragan followed by Sweet Sayonara and Vermaak Vlucht.



Dragan suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Minnesota Viking won. Dragan came in second. Sonja Palema caught third place.
