The sun was shining on Vaasa and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Breaking Star was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Breaking Star suddenly started to galop. Seppo Markkula had to struggle to get Breaking Star to tror again and succeded after 40 m. Stopping Wave galloped way to long and was disqualified.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sly Stone sprinted to the front.

Black Cube took the lead after 1000m. Sly Stone didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Good Looking Force galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Useless Vacation suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Black Cube today. It continued in the lead. Breaking Star galloped for 10 m.

Black Cube was still in the lead after 2000m. Dynamo Spurt gallopped 50 m after 2000m.

Black Cube looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Good Looking Force, 2 Sly Titan, 3 Black Cube.
