It had been raining for several days at Axevalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Light Bouquet could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Leading The Way suddenly started to galop. Linda Allercrantz had to struggle to get Leading The Way to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Nich-jo sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Untill Dawn who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Nich-jo clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Strong Pirate accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Strong Pirate kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Light Bouquet never caught up with Strong Pirate who won. Heavenly Bouquet came third.
