One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Running Whirlwind took the lead after a very quick start. Rolling Wave was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Light Rose sprinted to the front. Running Whirlwind was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Kenmare looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Rolling Wave couldn't come out from behind the leader, Light Rose.




Kenmare accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Kenmare was still in the lead after 2000m.



Kenmare were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Running Whirlwind never caught up with Kenmare who won. Light Rose came third.
