One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sleepy Rocket found a gap and took the lead. Goofy Lady followed before Clou Francis. When the startcar left the field Empires And Dance started to galop and lost 50 m.

Goofy Lady saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Goofy Lady was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sleepy Rocket galop. Sleepy Rocket lost 10 m. Athletic Judge galopped for 40 m on the homestretch. Modest Cake galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Goofy Lady sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
