The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Vaasa this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Shooting Map could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Harebell suddenly started to galop. Esa Holopainen had to struggle to get Harebell to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Sugarfree Gum, Tapdancer, Comfortable Platinum, Avocat Diable, Eri Mitoittaa, Harebell, Sonic Machine, Elle Très Joli. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Eri Mitoittaa took the lead rather easily. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m.



Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. The leader got disturbed by something and Avocat Diable took the lead rather easily.

Relaxing Hero galopped for 10 m on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Force Of Miracle galop. Force Of Miracle lost 40 m.




Domaine Tempier won the race after a spectacular finish.
