It had been raining for several days at Östersund but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mind The Step was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Travelling Whirlwind quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Travelling Whirlwind clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Monarchia Costituzionale saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



With only a little left of the race Mind The Step galoped for 50 m. Monarchia Costituzionale kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Lokomotiv Njet sprinted over the finishline before Punching Man and Monarchia Costituzionale.
