One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lonely Fiber tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sunday News that came steaming ahead.

Jolly Pie sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Jolly Pie followed by Lonely Fiber and Aeronwen. Lane two Sunday News followed by Tranquil Drama and Gorgeous Rose.



Jolly Pie sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Lonely Fiber won. Tranquil Drama came in second. Sunday News caught third place.
