The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Stay was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Running Pegasos quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Breaking Thought started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Yellow To Blue took the lead rather easily.

Rising Son saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Sleepy Maid gallopped for 10 m.

Sleepy Maid put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Sleepy Maid looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Helpful Tank made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Stay.
