One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Carbon could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Ari Hartikainen wanted a little to much in the start and Power Sound galoped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Pure Power, Helpful Map, Carbon, Power Sound, Stifling Sapphire, Speedy Semla, Rubis Brillant, Trustin' Trustworthy Tyrone.

Power Sound sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Power Sound followed by Speedy Semla and Helpful Map. Lane two Rubis Brillant followed by Carbon and Pure Power. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Helpful Map gallopped for 20 m.

Power Sound looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Carbon sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
