One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tropic Racer found a gap and took the lead. Speedy Turf followed before Principe Di Volata.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Cold Sweat was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Golden Crust was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Walking Gold galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one No Not Again followed by Pampered Breeze and Principe Di Volata. Lane two Tropic Racer followed by Slacker Jack and Cold Sweat.




No Not Again was still in the lead after 2000m.



No Not Again looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Seppo Markkula tried a little too much on the homestretch and No Not Again started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Principe Di Volata kept the speed the whole finish and won before Tropic Racer and Slacker Jack.
