The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Bergsåker today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Strong Hero was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Rich And Powerful saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Speedy Giraff looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Le Poignard couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rich And Powerful.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rich And Powerful followed by Hispeed Pascal and Le Poignard. Lane two Thunder Belt followed by Strong Hero and Baltus.

Rich And Powerful kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

With only a little left of the race Rich And Powerful galoped for 10 m. Thunder Belt speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Hispeed Pascal sprinted over the finishline before Strong Hero and Thunder Belt.
