One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Comet Clipper found a gap and took the lead. The Last Peace followed before Lady Madness.




Sad Gold quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Stop The Motion looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Omerta Lover couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sad Gold.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sad Gold followed by Lady Madness and Omerta Lover. Lane two Comet Clipper followed by Stop The Motion and Spider Hoof.




Sad Gold kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Spider Hoof was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.



Sad Gold sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Sad Gold. Lady Madness came in second. Comet Clipper became third.
