The sun was shining on Kannus today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Thunder Legend tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Als Es Ist that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Strong Folder sprinted to the front.




Königsmarck Larockma took the lead after 1000m. Thunder Legend didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Avondale Trotter galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Königsmarck Larockma looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Königsmarck Larockma kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Thunder Legend gallopped 40 m after 2000m. Superman Joe gallopped 20 m after 2000m.



Königsmarck Larockma sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Als Es Ist sprinted over the finishline before Königsmarck Larockma and Avondale Trotter.
