It had been raining for several days at Axevalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dancing Daffodil sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Relaxing Mountain was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Flying Striker, Trembling Diary, Essentiels, Dancing Daffodil, Beautiful Sunray, Power Bear, Light Mustache, Relaxing Mountain. Screaming Bandwith was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Essentiels sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Essentiels was still in the lead after 1500m.




Essentiels didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Essentiels kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Dancing Daffodil never caught up with Essentiels who won. Power Bear came third.
