One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Old Moment. Floating Forest ended up behind the leader. Pom Duchess got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Icke quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Pom Duchess took the lead after 1000m. Old Wave didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Old Moment suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m. Floating Forest looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Old Wave litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Old Wave galop. Old Wave lost 30 m. Grasping Nova showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Speedy Girl Pegasos made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Joplin Hof. Results
