One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Happy Play took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Proficient Connoisseur sprinted to the front.




Summer took the lead after 1000m. Proficient Connoisseur didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Summer followed by Glory Fire and Happy Play. Lane two Proficient Connoisseur followed by Sad Thinking and React Quick.




Summer was still in the lead after 2000m.



Summer looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Happy Play won. Sad Thinking came in second. Summer caught third place.
