Only a humble breeze blew over Rovaniemi this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ghostly Jewel found a gap and took the lead. Britt Corona followed before Royal Phantom. Snow White Hoof galloped way to long and was disqualified.




This is the positions after 500m. Ahimsa Blazer, Criminal Bakaou, Falling Maid, Coq Rougue, Verd Alt, Wandering Darkness, Ghostly Jewel, Drache Larockma. A bird flew just in front of Snow White Hoof who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Verd Alt sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Falling Maid galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Wandering Darkness saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Verd Alt started to gallop after 1500m and Jos Verbeeck had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Falling Maid showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Ghostly Jewel took the lead.




Ghostly Jewel seemed to be in good shape this day and continued in the lead. Ahimsa Blazer gallopped 10 m after 2500m.




Ghostly Jewel was still in the lead after 3000m.




Ghostly Jewel kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Royal Phantom galopped 20 m after 3500m.



No one seemed to be able to beat Ghostly Jewel today. Still in the lead after 3500m.






No-one could catch Ghostly Jewel today who won before Britt Corona and Royal Phantom.
