The sun was shining on Åmål today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Triple Crown. Tripping Sapphire ended up behind the leader. Waving Twister got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The leader got disturbed by something and Waving Twister took the lead rather easily.




Waving Twister was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Falling Meadow gallopped for 40 m.




Waving Twister kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.




Triple Crown took the lead after a speedrush.



Triple Crown sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Tripping Sapphire won the race after a spectacular finish.
