It had been raining for several days at Kuopio but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Alfa Donna could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Lucky Trap clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Päivänsäde was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lucky Trap followed by Joplin Hof and Pinstripes Famous Sunray. Lane two Emotionless followed by Alfa Donna and Passionate Beauty.



Lucky Trap kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
