The sun was shining on Mariehamn today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Odile De Sassy could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Savant Que Toujours started to galop and lost 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Savant Que Toujours sprinted to the front. Nora Bakaou was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Nora Bakaou made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Rugged Sniper.
