One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Running Asteroid found a gap and took the lead. Perla D'oro followed before Beue Yierl. Beue Yierl suddenly started to galop. Atle Solhus had to struggle to get Beue Yierl to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




Running Asteroid was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Running Asteroid today. It continued in the lead.



Running Asteroid sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Champion Du Champagne galop. Champion Du Champagne lost 20 m.




Beue Yierl won. Running Asteroid came in second. Perla D'oro caught third place.
