One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mackleton took the lead after a very quick start.




Mackleton was in fine shape and held the lead.

Tripping Closet showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Mackleton kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Mackleton today who won before Silly Peach and Trenton.
