One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Opposing Orchid could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Focused Agent saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Les Équitable Choix who started to galop and lost 20 m.




San Carlos looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Zizou Pegasos couldn't come out from behind the leader, Focused Agent. Pampered Needle galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Focused Agent followed by Opposing Orchid and Schwimmsport Gold. Lane two San Carlos followed by Zizou Pegasos and Tough Thinking.



Focused Agent kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Focused Agent didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
