The weather had been good all week and Arvika was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Running Starshine found a gap and took the lead. Close Sound followed before Eponine. Louis Le Fainéant was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Fighting From Below sprinted to the front.




Troy Knight took the lead after 1000m. Louis Le Fainéant didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unterziehen Es suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Troy Knight followed by Fighting From Below and Strikes On Top. Lane two Close Sound followed by Louis Le Fainéant and Running Starshine.




Close Sound put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Troy Knight gallopped 50 m after 2000m. Kabanov galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



With only a little left of the race Louis Le Fainéant galoped for 20 m. Close Sound were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Close Sound didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
