One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

On Ice sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Shining Garden saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Shining Garden clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Confidence Play galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Gentle Giant looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Im In Trance gallopped for 20 m. On Ice galloped for 40 m.

Shining Garden suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Gentle Giant won the race after a spectacular finish.
