One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Black Monster could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Field Commander Cohen was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Athletic Judge galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Field Commander Cohen followed by Black Monster and Ufo Broline. Lane two Lone Crusher followed by Kingdomofhappiness and Royal Hero. Kingdomofhappiness galloped for 10 m. Athletic Judge started to gallop after 1500m and Jennifer Tillman had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Field Commander Cohen looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Royal Hero kept the speed the whole finish and won before Ufo Broline and Chilipepper Flea.
