One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sweet You Thing took the lead after a very quick start.




Not Today quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Not Today clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Not Today followed by Grasping Nova and Falling Dribbler. Lane two Sweet You Thing followed by Hermes Viking and Devil's Advocate.



Sweet You Thing litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Sweet You Thing. Grasping Nova came in second. Not Today became third.
