The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Gävle today. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Amazing Cake tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Wandering Hope that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field De Débardeur started to galop and lost 10 m. Black Bomb saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. The leader got disturbed by something and De Débardeur took the lead rather easily. Nothing seemed to be able to stop De Débardeur today. It continued in the lead. Cunning Mind galloped for 60m and was disqualified. De Débardeur sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Amazing Cake galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. Wandering Hope won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
