One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jaja tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Alberstein that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Experienced Blizzard, Jaja, Première Édition, Florida Box, Criminal Cloud, Stopping Thought, Alberstein, More Than Anything.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Première Édition accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Première Édition were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Alberstein made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Stopping Thought.
