One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Attacca Con Forza tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Le Eiffel that came steaming ahead. Mauri Jaara wanted a little to much in the start and Baccus galoped for 10 m. When the startcar left the field Uncle Sam started to galop and lost 30 m.

Front Thinking quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Le Eiffel started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Parfait looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Attacca Con Forza couldn't come out from behind the leader, Front Thinking.

Parfait looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Uncle Sam started to gallop after 1500m and Gunnel Fredriksson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Parfait looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Reason, 2 Le Eiffel, 3 Baccus.
